Jamshedpur police have reported a significant rise in attacks involving sharp butcher knives (choppers), with approximately 12 cases registered in the last 10 days alone.
- Recent Arrests: On April 4, four suspects from the Sitaramdera area were arrested for an attack on a local resident.
- Fatalities: A 22-year-old man from Jugsalai recently succumbed to injuries after being attacked by a gang of ten armed with these weapons. Authorities noted that many of these weapons are being easily procured through online shopping portals.
